A convalescent is a person who is bedridden and healing from some one or an other disease,most important of course is Hydration,most people who are nursing someone keep track of outputs and inputs,sometimes a person can only take( IV )intravenous liquids,or very soft foods like Jello and Broth,sometimes the patient may have a good appetite,thus high nutrient foods low in fat and calories will be beneficial,there may be restrictions on Salt and food Allergies are a consideration.much rest,pain management,cleanliness,and good positive atmosphere,i recommend Comedy,comedy can really be a very good help in keeping the patient Happy..i hope this has been helpful.
