∙ 13y agoCoping saws are small hand held saws so have little power behind them (compared to electric saws such as band saws or scroll saws etc. ) so serious injury is less likely to occur. The main advantage is with the thin blade which enables you to vut intricate curves, giving you more freedom with shapes.
