The person appears in court and enters a plea to the charges. The defense attorney usually requests the person charged be released on bail or as an OR; the prosecutor may or may not object to the action, the judge decides whether the person will be released until trial or remain in jail until trial.
Documents must be affirmed by a notary public licensed in the state in which the document is presented. Family members can be a witness notary action, but the person wishing to have a document notarized must be present and properly identified or a person holding a court ordered POA for said person must be the presenter.
Sec. 204. (a) Whenever any person has engaged or there are reasonable grounds to believe that any person is about to engage in any act or practice prohibited by section 203, a civil action for preventive relief, including an application for a permanent or temporary injunction, restraining order, or other order, may be instituted by the person aggrieved and, upon timely application, the court may, in its discretion, permit the Attorney General to intervene in such civil action if he certifies that the case is of general public importance.
