I went through this recently. I was stopped for a .04 BAC (half the legal limit) about 2 yrs ago but it was 1.5 months before my 21st birthday so I was given a DWAI- not the crime version- the 'traffic violation' version. being under 21, I had to serve a 1 year revocation of my license- the first year i had a bad lawyer who missed a lot of court dates hence the delay.
basically, a probation is something that says that if you are stopped for a MOVING violation-- lane change, accident of which you are At Fault, etc. they can pull your license and you'll have to re-apply later. For me, the probationary period is 6 months, but my lawyer says that as long as I'm sober they won't take my license away. you're fine if the ticket is a parking tag or a fused light... it has to be a MOVING violation for them to consider taking away your license.
Most likely they won't take your driving rights away if you are stopped during a license probation period, but as with most things, it's better to be safe rather than sorry. don't drive haphazardly for a little while... once you get past that probation date, they can't just take your license as they choose. going through the 6 mo. or 1 yr. safely pays for itself.... if they decide to pull your license, it will take MUCH longer than that.
Depends on what one is 'on probation' for. If it was a DUI offense, a drivers license might be suspended for a specified period (depending on the state) and possibly up to 3 years . If the person is not on a DUI probation, and has met all the requirements of the probation order, one would think they can progress in life and get the license. Would possibly advise that you be asking your probation officer this question, too.
You would likely be arrested.
The criminal offense for which you are serving the sentence of probation will always remain on your criminal history record, unless expunged. Your drivers license violation will always remain on your drivers record. Your drivers record is PERMANENT record and cannot be expunged.
Nothing - Unless you are operating in violation of DMV restrictions (suspended or revoked) or are actively wanted on an open warrant) your probation status will be unknown to the officer.
can I exchange my Florida drivers license for a wisconsin drivers license
if you mean a bicycle, most likely not. To suspend a drivers license usually you need to be committing a motor vehicle offense or it is part of a restriction due to probation, etc.
No
If your drivers license is revoked in one state, can you get a drivers license in another state?
No
You need to be 18 to get you drivers license but when you are 16 you can drive with a guardian that has a drivers license.
Yes they can get a drivers license
No.
