Here are some female fairy tale monsters:

  • Medusa, who has hair made out of snakes and can turn people to stone.
  • A siren. They can lure people to them with their voices which are impossibly beautiful, but they lure people to destruction.
  • Mermaid. Sometimes in the literature these were good, but sometimes they were bad, drowning people.
  • Wicked witches. Lots of these in fairy tales.
  • Evil queen. There are several of these, and stepmothers too, if humans can count as monsters.
  • There are some cool female dragons too. :)
