Well the fishes breath through gills as you know, but the way they breath is that they suck the oxygen out of the water. The way they do this is by: bringing water forth to their mouth which easily then just goes through their body and to their gills, and gets rid of the carbon dioxide, but keeps the oxygen for itself.
Sharks breathe through their gills, just like fish.
Method of Breathing was created in 2002.
Same as all the other fish. Water over gills, gills pull out needed gases and dispose of waste gases.
To determine if your fish is sleeping or dead, observe its breathing and movement. If the fish is still breathing and shows some movement, it is likely sleeping. However, if there is no movement and the fish is not breathing, it may be dead.
Fish breath underwater
The Buteyko method strives to remove the bad habits of over-breathing and to replace them with new habits of slower, shallower breathing, called "reduced breathing."
As the temperature changed, the fish's breathing rate increased or decreased accordingly.
It's a method that is used for catching Fish
Mammals, birds, reptiles and adult amphibians breathe using lungs. Fish breathe using gills, while juvenile amphibians breathe using gills and spiracles.
No reptiles are air breathing, cold blooded, egg laying animals. Fish are not air breathing.
Are you sure the fish is breathing? On most cases if the fish is upside down it means the fish is dead, but might also be that the fish is ill, so go to the vet! :)
The smaller the size of a tropical fish the faster their breathing rate will be. The smallest fish will have the fastest breathing rates.
