Assuming you have downloaded the precompiled package for an Intel Mac running Mac OS X. You will have a disc image file (.dmg). Double click the .dmg file icon which will open up a window with a Hedgewars icon and an icon for a shortcut to your Applications folder. Drag the hedgewars icon into the Applications folder icon in the window and Hedgewars will be copied to your Applications folder. You can then eject the .dmg disk icon.
