The Blarney Stone.
There would be no particular clothes to wear. You can wear what you want. It would depend on the weather and time of year a lot more than the fact you were kissing the Blarney Stone.
You would be in Blarney Castle, in Ireland.
There is a tower at Castle Blarney in Ireland. There's a legend that if you lean out of a specific window and kiss the "Blarney Stone", you'll be blessed with the gift of gab and persuasion. Personally, it would take a LOT of persuasion with a lot of slick nonsense to convince me to lean out of a castle tower to kiss the Blarney Stone.
In county Cork in Ireland.
You kiss it and people say it gives you luck.
Kissing the blarney stone gives you the "gift of the gab". You'll supposedly be very talkative, and spreading "blarney" (or BS). The tradition of kissing the Blarney Stone is said to bestow eloquence on the kisser. To be able to kiss the stone you have to dangle yourself from a position from which, if you fell, you would meet your demise. http://www.sacredsites.com/europe/ireland/blarney_stone.html
Blarney is in Cork, so to drive there from Dublin airport would take at least 3 hours on the motorway and could be more in heavy traffic.
The tradition of kissing the Blarney Stone is said to have been started by a seventeenth-century Irish lord named Cormac McCarthy, who believed that kissing the stone would bestow the gift of eloquent speech and persuasive language upon those who did so.
