It's FPS (Feet per Second). It isn't what FPS to start with, it's what GUN to start with. Start with an AEG (Automatic Electric Gun). I would recommend and Echo1 M-16 or M4. These run about 150-200 US Dollars and have around 350-370 FPS. I also recommend any Classic Army Sportline gun. These run about 140-180 US Dollars. They have around 330-350 FPS.
