im deeply sorry that i am unable to answer this question - i am a huge dog lover and i practically know everything about dogs as i own 4 myself. unfortunately for the question asker, my dogs have never had diarhea. i shall research this question and get back to you. thanks

Diarrhea can be caused from a change of dogfood, when you change foods you should use 1/2 of the old and 1/2 of the new so their system can adjust to this.
I suggest feeding 1/2 boiled white or brown rice and 1/2 boiled turkey or chicken or cooked gr. beef strain and run hot water over it to remove grease, feed this for a few feedings if it continues go to the vet
