This is a wonderful proactive plan to control the bullies (which are few compared to the good students in a school) and protect those that are bullied. If your school has a student editor then print out notices for meetings (check with the head of the school before doing so) and give the date and time. Pass out the notices to as many students as you can and stress on the notice that even if you are not a bully, but see bullying going on and ignore it then you are an enabler.
Good preventions for stopping child bullying would be to address the problem directly, by speaking with the parent of the bullying child or by going to a school administration (if the victim or victims were bullied on school grounds).
If student is being bullied and one or more students pass by without doing anything then they are a large part of many young students becoming victims of bullying. It would be wise to have a friend along with you and confront the bully while letting the victim of the bullying get between you and your friend or behind you and your friend and later making sure that victim is no longer bullied. Many schools have teen groups where they work together to stop bullying and it is a good suggestion to approach the principle of the school and suggesting this and also involving teachers and parents. Personally, I have in the past while in school stuck up for victims of bullying and would rather do that than walk on by.
a good movie to show students about conflict is...BLIND SIDE!
There are many students that you can say are good students. Students who are kind, caring, and studious are good students.
A bully 'upstander' is someone or a group of people who stand up against bullies and it could be the victim themselves or a group of students that protect the victims from bullying. The ways of 'Upstanders' are to befriend the victim and guide them into getting help and reporting the bully while the 'Upstander' is there to listen and help where they can. This can be done quite well with a group of students who are willing to 'upstand' for a victim of bullying. It is important for 'upstanders' to let their other friends know or other students what it is all about and to join in. In every school there are only a handful of bullies and more students that do not bully. Teens who are 'upstanders' encourage 'upstanders' to pick out the students that are alone often such as between classes or at lunchtime and to join them so they feel less alone and not deserted from other students and if necessary walk them too and from school for their safety sake. Also if there is a new student who is trying to blend in and make friends the 'upstander' should be there to introduce themselves and show them around school and to be there as a friend. If there is no anti bullying program in your school then talk to the principal to ask if a program could be developed. If the principal does not want to get involved then have group meetings with parents as to what the teens want and force the school to bring in an anti bullying program. It is important to be knowledgeable about bullying so hit the Internet to learn more about it and make an effort to talk to the victims of bullying 'always go to the horse's mouth.' If students pass a victim being bullied then they are just as guilty as the person or group of persons doing the bullying and it is everyone's responsibility to pitch in and end bullying for good. Stand together and make schools and workplaces a better place to be!
Some students might look depressedthey are great students that have good grades but they start failingstudents are very nervous, quiet, and emotional
No it is not a good movie for school, it's inappropriate.
Yes. I currently attend Valley View Middle School and it is great. They have great teachers, a great campus, and also have nice students. There isn't a lot of fighting or bullying there so it is safe to not get harassed.
yes it is a good school where bright and intelligent students do
to have good students that behave
Yes Oswalt Academy is a good school it mostly has no bullying, a little mean people but not really, the food in the cafeteria is okay, and it is a K-8 school. There is a laptop program for students 5th grade - 8th grade. Learning with the laptops is a great way to be engaged and I should know! I go to this school and I am in 8th grade. I started this school in kindergarten and it really is a great school.
