i would say that its mainly movies, yes, bullying can be serious but students tend to get the wrong idea of bullying from movies. some students may have experienced bullying before and are afraid to undergo the some experience again or sometimes there is an influence somewhere, for example a big sister or brother giving the wrong idea of bullying at their school. hope this helps (:
The best support a young person can give another young person especially in school is to create a program within the school with other students to set out rules and abide by them to protect the innocents of the victims of bullying. In most schools there are only but a handful of bullies in comparison to the number of students that attend and a program at the school would be extremely effective. Parents and teachers should be involved in this as well. If students who do not bully walk by or watch bullying they are just as bad at the bully.
yes a salt will react with another salt if another substance such as acid was added also.
It could be either. As a verb you would say "she is bullying him" and as a noun you would say "bullying is bad."
Phonal bullying would be bullying by telephone. That could include name-calling, hangup calls, playing adult materials to another over the phone, etc. It could also involve defamation and inciting others to do things against the victim.

What would even be better than a movie (not one comes to mind) is getting the students involved in making their own movie on bullying. Each student can express how they feel as to how they are bullied and the more mature students can give pointers about what can be done about bullying. This means acting out scenes of pushing; shoving; physical harm; name calling and harassment or cyberbullying as well and impress that the rise of suicide is high regarding students who are victims of suicide and you could do research to find the names of some of those students to be shown at the end of the movie. By doing it this way it will be far more effective and while making the movie the students are learning why bullying is not permissible and that even though you may not be a bully you still see it and let it happen and thus, a student that does this is an enabler and almost as bad at the bully. More and more of the students that do not bully are trying to work with teachers; parents and having programs to protect victims of bullying. If one considers out of the whole school of students there may be only a dozen or two who are bullies so it stands to reason if the good students stand up for the rights of victims of bullying the bullies will eventually disappear. Laws also have to be changed to expel constant bullies.
About half of the world or students take they life because of bullying. I think that because if the students are being bullied then us as people we should be trying to help or to help stop bullying but i just move to Rochester and when i started school Iwas bullied so i know how that feels to all the kids that have been bullied in the world but we can make a big dirrerences in the world so please help by stoping bullying.
Rosenthal effect has to do with the effect the teacher's opinion of the students or of the students' performance has on the actual performance. If the professor were to feel his students are brilliant, this feeling would come out in his tone and his body language. His students would react positively to it and respond with more effort and learning. Often, teachers who 'care' more get better results from their teachers. Those that care have 'high expectations' and believe in the capability of their kids. If the professor were to feel his students were a bunch of ignorant, lazy, pains in the butt, this would also come out in his tone and body language. The students would react negatively to the teacher, and the feelings would appear accurate.
The word covert just means secret or hidden. Bullying in the form of psychological abuse is hard to detect just by being a bystander and looking at it. There would be no violence, and often no direct threats, so others might not think there is any bullying occurring at all. Often, it is the victims who react and get punished. This type of bullying might be done with the goal of making the victim seem mentally unstable, since it can appear they are upset for no reason.
Yes there is always a chance of getting bullied for not wearing the uniform, through any students at school. Bullying can affect peoples lives and in my opinion bullying would get worse if we wore casual clothes instead of school uniform.
Bullying always affects people badly. Beyond that, if you would like more specific information I would like to know whether you are being bullied by a relative at home, such as an older brother, or by students at school, or just what situation you are asking about. It's a bit vague at present.
