Some people combine animals and just call them the names of the originals, like a Raccoon bear or a badger dog. You could also make up some random word, like Ronkel. And then you just have to describe it for the reader, and you can use it from then on.

∙ 8y agoThis is something you're going to have to learn how to do if you want to be a writer. Inventing an animal is already halfway there - you just have to figure out what it's called. You can either make up a totally fake name by picking syllables that sound cool to you, or you can make up a more scientific sounding name like rock borer or cloud sail.
