A good dog treat for a puppy is either a small dog cookie or a soft toy. These are great treats because it has minimal chance of harming the puppy, while it can be enjoyable.
Call out his/her name and when he/she comes to you praise him/her and reward him/her with a treat if you want.
you need to train them. i suggest doing the treat training for example: ~the dog is on the bed, you get a treat and motion your hand and voice to say "down" make sure that you say is assertively. ~the first time the dog gets off the bed make sure to reward them with a treat. ~keep doing this training until the dog knows that getting off the bed is a good thing and brings good things to them. good luck!
Get an egg timer and set it for every 10 minutes and take the puppy out when the bell rings and reward with a small treat keep doing this and the dog will let you know when it has to go out.
if your dog will be good give him or her a treat
She does give the dog back. But she does not get the reward. Good book though, still has a happy ending.
it is how u treat them if you treat them nice they will have a good life.
Cheese is a very good training treat. Because of the strong smell it gets dogs excited about working. I wouldn't suggest using cheese as the only training treat though. I would save cheese as a special treat such as a reward for a younger dog when they come when called.
To train a dog to obey certain commands, such as sit or come, one can reward it with a small treat each time it successfully obeys the command. When doing this kind of training before a meal the dog will be more interested in the food and will therefore train more efficiently.
How do you teach your dog to speak To teach your dog to speak is a very difficult thing to do, but you may benefit more from teaching your dog to bark on command as this will be easier. Basically for this you would want to find a way that you can have your dog bark, may it be teasing with a treat or a toy. You can then either use the command "speak" every time your dog barks and reward or use a silent cue such as winking your eye. A few repeats of this and you shouldn't need the toy or treat to coax your dog into barking any longer. Hope this helps. well try this getting a dog toy or treat and putting it in front of him then when he barks say speak and reward him x
It is not uncommon for a Maltese to have small dog syndrome. It depends on how you treat your dog. It will only have small dog syndrome if you allow it to (--if you let it act like a brat and tolerate bad behavior)
Cheese is not good for your dog. Find another healthier type of treat such as some veggies or small pieces of chicken.
