You can always make your hair darker using henna, or lighter by putting lemon juice in it and sitting in the sun.
From experience I can tell you that nothing is a good substitute for hair dye. The lemon/sun thing really doesn't work very well . Just go to the store and pay 10.00-15.00 for a box of dye you can do at home. You will be much happier and playing around with other things.
all the dye are bad to your hair, it can damage the natural softness of your hair. there are lmost no good dye.
It is depending on what hair dye you get. Make sure not to dye your hair to many times in a month or it may damage your hair.

Light hair is way easier to dye than dark hair is. So the answer is yes. Just go to the store and there will most likely be hair dye there somewhere. Good luck.
Hair spray is a pretty good substitute.
