Question: Does microwaved water affect the growth of plants?
Hypothesis: The experimenter thinks that the hotter the water is the worse it will be for the plants.
Materials:
1.) Distilled water 4.) Same soil
2.) Same plant 5.) Same pot
3.) Microwave 6.) Measuring cup
Procedure:
1.) The first day the experimenter starts the project, plant the same plants into the soil and the same pot.
2.) When the experimenter first plants them, he has to microwave about 2/3 cup of water for one minute.
3.) Then the experimenter has to label the plant that the microwaved water was put in- Microwaved Water ONLY.
4.) The experimenter has to measure another 2/3 of a cup of water, but it has to be unheated water.
5.) Next, the experimenter must label the plant that was watered with unheated water- Unheated Water ONLY.
6.) Then, the experimenter must get a third plant and put it in the soil and put- Regular Tap Water ONLY.
7.) After, you must water the plant with 2/3 a cup of nonheated tap water.
8.) Repeat steps 1-5 two more times
9.) Then the experimenter repeats the watering cycle once every four days until full results are shown.

To find the perfect science fair project, you have to find what you are interested in. Then add your own idea and BOOM, you have a project.
A good idea for a science fair project is to do a project where you test which plant food will be the most effective. also, you can do which orange has more vitamin c. and who is the fastest kid in your grade or best speller.
A science fair project about Dream analysis would be a good idea. You can tell why dreams occur, are they symbolic, what do they refer to, etc.
yes it would be in that category, also you should think about what enineering would be involved! great idea though:) How are you planning on preserving water with a shower head that expells water?
