There isn't a specific home remedy - the most you can do is keep a close eye on it, try to keep the dog from scratching at it or getting it dirty and letting it heal on its own.
DO NOT put medications like peroxide, antibiotic cream or other medications on the eyelid - there is a major risk of the chemical getting into the eye where it can cause major damage or blindness.
If the eye is involved as well, if the eyelashes are no longer attached to the eyelid or if it starts to look infected (red, puffy, oozing fluid, hot to the touch, painful, etc.), you will need to take your dog to a veterinarian for treatment.
ouch! that would hurt if you got stung on the eyelid! but what you do is... # you lift up the eye lid and brush the stinger out the opposite way that it went in. # then you see if it did any damage to the eye. # if it did not, your dog will be ok. # if it did then your dog will still be ok, unless he/she allergic to bee's stings. The simptoms are, extra swelling in the eye and lips, the dog is panting extra fast and acting weird, and the dog is whimpering.don't worry the whimpering thing is normal but if it goes on to long, your dog might be allergic. Your dog might be allergic, but if its not extremly allergic he/she will be fine. p.s most dogs, if allergic are not extremly alergic. And you can trust me because i am in vet school and will soon be a vet.

You need to take your dog in to be checked out by a Veterinarian. Your dog could have an infection in the eye or a foxtail or other foreign object in his eye, or a genetic fault of the eye called entropion where the lower eyelashes rub against the eye. etc. Only a Vet can check the eye out thoroughly & find out what it is wrong, then do the appropriate treatment or surgery if needed. You should do this as soon as possible. Never try to home treat a sore eye as there are so many things that it could be which could lead to blindness if left untreated.

I've been looking for the answer for this question as well, what I did is I put a couple of pieces of cucumber on his eyes and scratched his tummy until he fell asleep, later when he woke up I removes the cucumber and he wasn't squinting anymore, good luck!
For an eye injury you need to see the vet. If you are unable or cannot afford to do so, you can buy over the counter eye ointment. I prefer to use basic neosporin, it has almost all the same ingredients as a medicated eye ointment. Be sure you get just the plain neoporine, not the kind with an analgesic or you will have a worse problem on your hands and could blind your dog.
My dog had a cut on her upper left eye lid. No sure where it came from. But... I clean it I used Saline Solution for Sensitive Eyes three times a day to clean the area and also gave her a few Saline Solution drops to clean the eye too. After a few days the cut started to heal perfectly.
Hope this helps
If it's just a small scratch then use polysporin drops two or three times a day for a week or so. If it's a big scratch Or a cat scratch you need a vet. Watch for infection. If you delay, the dog may lose the eye.
This depends on the cause of the irritation/redness, but the usual treatment is antibiotics, either oral or eye drops. There are a number of things that can cause this, some of which are bacterial blepharitis, canine atopy, demodectic mange, autoimmune diseases, staphylococcal blepharitis and hypothyroidism.
You need to take your dog to your vet ASAP for diagnosis and treatment. To delay treatment can result in blindness, and, depending on the cause, even death. But do NOT try to treat this yourself, since you have no idea what the cause of this is and could actually make it worse.
There is no good remedy for a scratch to a dog's eye. This type of injury requires veterinary attention as it can develop into something more serious if left untreated.
You can get drops for canine weeper eye. ask your vet
the glads in the eye's and to slove ointment, drip's and lotion
See a doctor.
Not unless recommended by a doctor.
OMG yes they love to be scratched my puppy LOVES it!!!!!!! but idk about your dog?!?!?!?!?!
My dogs favorite treat is goldfish.
You need to take your dog to a veterinarian. Your veterinarian will most likely give you antibiotics to give to you dog.
Assuming the eye is lightly scratched, clean, and no foreign objects are in it, the general treatment is to rinse thoroughly with water or saline solution and take it easy. If the cornea is pierced, immediatly see an eye doctor. If not, give it a couple of days to heal on its own. If, after two days, it has not healed, see a doctor. Wearing an eye patch or taping the eye shut increases the risk of infection, since it creates a warm, moist culture where bacteria will thrive.
: MY Subjection is to take your dog to the vet and let the vet check his eye.when your at home make sure the cat and dog are in diffrent rooms.
Depends on the extent of the scratch, the ferrets eye will be watering and irritated
