A hot-blooded horse is the lighter, more refined 'type' of horse. There are three categories, Cold-blood, Warm-blood and Hot-blood This does in no way, shape or form refer the the type of horses blood temperature but refers the the build and origin of the horses breed.
For example~
Clydesdale - Cold-blood
Irish Hunter - Warm-blood
Arabian - Hot-blood
Another reason why horses are divided into these three groups is because of the terrain and conditions the ancestors of the particular breed was bred into. The Egyptian Arab for example was bred into hot, rocky terrain with little food, resulting in a fast, light and intelligent horse.
The cold-bloods (draft breeds) on the other hand lived in places with plenty of food and cooler conditions, results in a big-bodied horse.
A "hot-blooded" horse has a temperament more like most thoroughbreds, as in it is flightier, will scare more easily, doesnt like to stop, and love to run. These horses are more sensitive to cues, so these horses will freak out if you used the same pressure with them as you would with a lazier horse.
my cousin has a warm blood well 2 they are usually very calm but race round like headless chickens when a loud noise occurs like hedge cutters they are very good with other horses mostly warm bloods but very strong horses so if u want one beware
A hotblood is a type of horse that is often known for it's firey temperament. For example, the Arabian is a hotblood. Of course, not all hotbloods have to be spunky and sassy.

Thoroughbreds are considered a hotblood breed.
The body temperature for an Arabian horse is the exact same as it is for any other horse breed 99-101.5 degrees Fahrenheit. If you were asking about the horseman's term of classing a horse based on it's origins and overall type an Arabian would be considered a 'hotblood'.
since a horse is a mammal, and all mammals are warm-blooded, a horse is warm-blooded. Lizards, for example, are cold-blooded, that's why they lay in the sun all day. to warm up their body temperature.
