A humanoid robot is one that has a human shape, ie a head with two 'eyes', a 'nose' and 'mouth, and on a neck, and two arms, a torso, and two legs.
It's usually made of metal or metal and plastic. However there are ones that can look entirely human; these would have mechanical and electronic workings underneath but realistic looking human skin and hair and features over this. They are often very attractive.
The best examples are the sci-fi writer Isaac Asimov's robots who are, in my estimation, dead sexy! He called the really human looking ones 'humaniforms' and they were usually real lookers too. Plus being intelligent and like humans in their personalities and voices and mobility etc. Only regret is they're about 1000 years into the future.....

If it was it would have been done by now.
To date, "humanoid robots" are doing well to walk without falling over, and can perform a few basic tasks such as recognizing a bright light or in some cases responding to a few voice commands provided that adequate voice recognition software has been installed.
There are humanoid robots, military robots, insect robots, and space robots. There are more kinds of robots too.

The robot which can look and behave like human is called a Humanoid Robot.

The ASIMOV humanoid robot was developed by Honda, a Japanese car company known for its innovative robotics technology. Honda's ASIMO(robot prototype) was first introduced in 2000.

It depends on the robot. If the robot was designed to look like an animal or humanoid, then yes, sure. But otherwise, no.
