Infectious disease
Asthma is not infectious disease. It does not spread from one person to other person.
Dysentery is the infectious disease caused by a protozoan. It is primarily caused by the protozoan parasites Entamoeba histolytica and Giardia lamblia, leading to severe diarrhea and gastrointestinal distress. Lyme disease is caused by bacteria, pneumonia can be caused by various pathogens including bacteria and viruses, and tuberculosis is also a bacterial infection.
Infectious diseases are those diseases which are caused by infectious agents (which include microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa and virus, as well as some multicellular animals such as worms) and hence they are the ones which can spread from one person to another. Non-infectious diseases are those diseases that are not caused by infectious agents and do not spread from one person to another.
an infectious disease is a disease caused by bacterial, viral, fungal, or protozoan infection.
infectious diseases involve a causative organism, from groups such as bacteria, viruses, fungi and such. Noninfectious diseases are not caused by a specific infectious organism. You get an infective disease from a bacteria or a virus or even a fungus. Other diseases are not caused by these but by other things. For example: cancer.
Pathogens cause Infectious Diseases by pathogens getting into your body and caused harm.
Huntington's disease is a genetic disease (not carried by an infectious vector) and so, it is not infectious.
Bartonellosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria of the Bartonella family. It can be transmitted to humans through animal bites or scratches, ticks, or fleas. Symptoms can include fever, fatigue, headache, and swollen lymph nodes. Treatment typically involves antibiotics.
An infectious disease caused by bacteria transmitted by the common cat flea that causes a self-limiting, mild infection in healthy people
A disease is a problem with your health. It can vary from diseases like diabetes to malaria. However an infectious disease is when the disease can be transmitted from person to person by air, water, food and touch and is usually caused by a virus, bacteria or fungus. So for example malaria, is contagious because it is either caused by a bacteria or virus, therefore an infectious disease. In the other hand diabetes isn't contagious because it cannot be spread by person to person unless it is a genetic disorder.
A virus.
