Not really other 'versions' per se, but the initial start of the movie has two different beginnings. In the first, the Chimp that Brosner users escapes the facility, by killing guards and is befriended by Jeff Fahey's character because he thinks he is 'Nemo Man' from the comics,. In the second beginning, the Chimp is killed trying to escape the facility and and Jeff Fahey's character, Jobe, jumps to a punishment by the Priest, his keeper. After that, they both seem to be the same, and follow to the same conclusion. The only other version is a movie that goes in a whole different direction of magic and satyrs.
