well it depends on the social ranking of the roman citizen. the lower class were usually slaves, farmers, or even fixed leaks in the roman aqueducts. the middle class were usually, if not always roman shop keepers. and the upper class citizens were most likely senators. there were always outliers to these groups, but these are the stereotypes. hope this helped!
