It depends on if you're using "aur" to mean "ear" or to mean "gold." Here are a couple of helpful tips for you.

AUR = EAR

  • distinguish ear from eye by remembering that the "A" word goes with the word that has "A" in it ("eye" has no "A")
  • if you say "aur" out loud, it sounds a little bit like "ear"
  • remember "U hear with UR ear"
  • remember your vowels - AEIOU - Aur goes with Ear, which is the next vowel in line
AUR = GOLD
  • remember "Gold rings ARE (AUR) expensive (or pretty, or whatever you like)"
