My guess is that a gunshop might try to sell an absolute "new in box" condition firearm for around $800. If you got lucky and found a Winchester collector who just had to have this gun (and sold it to him yourself) you might get up to a grand for it. I've seen very high condition Model 62's listed for up to $1200 in trade publications but these are asking not selling prices. Value, of course, decreses with condition. One with only 50% of its original finish left and still in good working condition might sell for about $300 in a gunshop. If you were to sell it to that gunshop remember that they expect to make a profit on it themselves and will probably only offer 50% to 60% of what they expect to sell it for.
$130 - $1500 plus premiums for pre-war manufacture and "gallery" models. New in the original box might sell for twice the high of $1500. or more.
