Stretching things a bit- as these are Modern Fairy Tales that start out in reality USA or UK in the case of Alice- both the Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland fit into this category and both had much music. There were more songs in the Disney version of Alice than any other Disney film- it is said. Both of these start out in reality-ville- then transform. Ordinary Fairy tales take place ( Once upon a Time) in a fictional world , usually remote and in the past.
