It's worth the price of 1 oz. of silver. That changes every day, so any specific value posted here would be out of date almost immediately. While it's not normal WikiAnswers policy to say "use the internet", that's the best approach in this case. You can check a site such as kitco.com for the latest conversion factors.

Also, note that this is a bullion coin sold for its metal content and not for spending. The $1 denomination is artificial.

A one pound Walking Liberty coin is not a official U.S. Mint coin but it has bullion value of a little less than spot price of silver at time of sale which as of right now is $17.63 X 16=$282.08

No such genuine US coin exists, for several reasons:

> The walking liberty design was introduced in 1916 and used on HALF dollars until 1947; it was revived in 1986 for use on silver bullion coins

> All 1900 silver dollars were struck as Morgan dollars, with Miss Liberty's face on the front and a spread-winged eagle on the back

> All silver dollars minted up till 1935 contained about 0.77 troy ounces of silver and were intended for use in daily commerce, not as investment pieces. They're not at all related to modern bullion "eagle" coins.

The only possibility is that you have a fantasy piece with an artificial date. If it does in fact contain 1 troy oz. of silver, its value will vary with the spot price of that metal. Check a site such as kitco.com for daily values.

This is not a US Mint issue. If it is .999 silver then it should be marked on it somewhere.
