Paper based database is database that consists of many papers, not a e-database!
Paper-based communicaton is anything written, drawn or printed.
A paper database is a non electronic form of database. Instead of using a computer it uses psychical sheets of paper.
What are the three examples of paper based databases
Computerised data is on a computer (well yah) and a paper database is on a peice of paper ( XD ). It is also easier with a Computerised database as it is easier!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

Paper-based databases are prone to errors due to manual data entry and can be easily lost or damaged. They are also difficult to scale and not as efficient as digital databases for searching and sharing information. Additionally, paper-based databases require physical storage space and are not environmentally friendly.
Limited storage capacity compared to digital databases, making it difficult to scale as data grows. Susceptibility to physical damage, such as fire or water damage, risking loss of important information.
A database itself cannot physically exist on paper, as it requires a digital format for storage and organization of data. However, the structure and contents of a database can be represented on paper through diagrams, schemas, and documentation. These representations help developers and users understand the database design and functionality.

Index card system is a paper based data base. It's simple, inexpensive and easy to use and update ( you just pull a card out and put another in). It's also very fast in that you only have to use your eyes and glance at the headings. No computer knowledge involved.
