Zero is not correct. Your weight may be zero in parts of space, but not in others. Weight, however, is a different thing altogether to mass and it is important not to confuse the two. Mass is the amount of matter in an object and this remains the same.

A person's mass remains the same in outer space because mass is a measure of the amount of matter an object contains. However, their weight, which is a measure of the force of gravity acting on them, would be different in outer space because there is less gravity.

Does a satellite have mass when it is in outer space?

The mass of an object is the object's mass. It makes no difference where the object is, what the temperature is, whether it's night or day, on Earth or the far side of the moon, in the northern or western hemisphere, at the bottom of the deepest ocean or on top of the highest mountain, asleep or awake. Whatever mass it had yesterday, wherever it was, is the same mass it has today, wherever it is. Have I made myself clear ?

How does air take up space?

Air takes up space because it consists of molecules that have mass and volume. When air molecules are compressed or confined, they exert pressure on their surroundings, demonstrating that they occupy a physical space. This property is known as the compressibility of gases.

How do you work out the Mass Of A Cuboid?

To calculate the mass of a cuboid, you would multiply its volume by the density of the material it is made of (mass = volume x density). The volume of a cuboid can be found by multiplying its length, width, and height. The density of the material can be looked up or measured.

What the meaning of mass media?

Its purpose is to inform, entertain, and persuade people on a wide scale. Mass media plays a crucial role in shaping public opinion and influencing societal norms.

What is space division multiplexing?

Space division multiplexing is a technique where data signals are transmitted simultaneously through different physical pathways, such as separate channels, fibers, or antennas. This allows for increased data transmission capacity by dividing the available space into multiple paths for data transmission.

If an object has a mass of 75 kg what is it's weight?

Its weight depends on the force of gravity acting on the mass. In outer space, for example, its weight will be 0.

Can a body has mass but no weight justify your answer?

A body always has mass. The Weight is dependent on the gravity inflicted on that body. According to F=mg, where Weight is equal to "F", Weight is 0 when gravity is equal to 0. The only place that gravity is 0 is in outer space so there's no weight in outer space but you will always still have a mass.
