A person would be named Ostracism because when voting to find out if the person would be banished generally what they would right on was called "ostraka" or other whys called pottery.
One who is banished from home is generally referred to as an exile or an outcast.
It hasn't been - in this country at least.

A person who comes from another country is called an immigrant.
When you have to leave a country you are being deported or exiled.
An exile, or an outcast ( not to be confused with outcaste, which means something else). Banished would be another word.
