First, a few clarifications. Quasars are related to black holes. Our Milky Way has no quasar; meaning that the black hole is currently "inactive", which basically means that it is not gobbling up a lot of matter.

According to current scientific knowledge, there is really nothing that can destroy a black hole. It will gradually evaporate, but that takes a long, long time. For more details about this evaporation, search for information about "Hawking radiation".
