Hold down the cntl key and drag the icon to the quick launch bar. This will copy the icon. If you don't hold the cntl key it will move the icon to the quick launch bar.
The button is included by default in the Quick Launch menu. Simply right-click the taskbar and select Toolbars > Quick Launch.
remove quick launch icons and again include them..if it does not work,restart the computer after removing the quick launch and then toggle it on...
Double clicking the application's icon will launch an application. If the application is shown in the Dock then only a single click on its icon is required.
You click on its Icon, On your Home Screen.
The Calculator application is usually visible in the Dock. A single click on the icon will launch it. If it is not in the Dock it can be found in the Applications folder. Double clicking on the icon in the Applications folder will launch Calculator.
If you are in Windows 7, you can click (on the start bar) the box on the left of it. If you are in Windows XP or lower, click the icon on the Quick Launch Bar that has a message on it stating "Show Desktop"

To restore the Show Desktop in the Windows Quick Launch Toolbar one should ensure that the settings are configured to enable Show Quick Launch. Alternatively one can go to the Microsoft website, navigate to this problem and press the Fix It button.
