make a staight cut down center of belly from head to rattle.stapple skin gut side up on board or plywood. staples should be side by side so edge of skin doesn't curl. take a 2 inch putty knife and scrape membane and meat off hide after it is stapled down. cover gut side with 20 mule team borax purchased from grocery store. let sit in sun for 3 days. brush away all borax after 3 days and mix 50/50 solution of glicerine and alcohol. brush solution on gut side once a day for 2 weeks.
