These are both really good movies. I can't pick a favorite between them. I guess it just depends on whether you'd rather watch a docudrama (Cloverfield) or a classic narrative film (The Mist). Or if you'd rather watch a modern take on the classic Godzilla movies (Cloverfield), or a movie about fearsome creatures from another dimension (The Mist).Honestly, just watch both.
