I'm assuming you don't just mean "why do you, Paultagoras, have different maps", but even then it depends on what you mean by "different maps".

If you mean different maps about different things, then the answer should be obvious - one map wouldn't be enough to cover everything.

If you mean why do we have different types of maps about the same thing, then it's because different types of maps emphasize different things (like terrain features or political boundaries) but having it all on one map would give you too much information (likely making the map useless).

Finally, if you mean why do we have maps of the exact same thing being released by multiple people/companies, it's likely the same reason we have multiple copies of the same book being released by different publishers - there's money to be made and all that matters is that someone buys it from you.

because one map doesn't show everything like one map is for roads another one is for climate and so on
