During the 1970s and 80s many refrigerators were produced that emitted Chlorofluorocarbon gas (CFCs) into the atmosphere. This gas reacts with Ozone (O3) and thins the Ozone layer. This allows more harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays to pass through. These types of refrigerators were banned however during the 1990s.
CFC's
The stratospheric ozone layer forms at high altitude. It is 25 km.
The stratospheric ozone is important as it blocks the harmful UV radiations of the sun. This ozone is present as the ozone layer.
Most of the ozone is found in the stratospheric region. It is present as ozone layer.
The layer which absorbs ozone is the ozone layer. IT is present in the stratospheric region of the atmosphere.
CFC's
Stratospheric ozone is the one which protects us from the UV rays. It is a protective layer.
Stratospheric ozone protects us from the harmful UV rays. It is present as the ozone layer.
The stratospheric ozone layer forms at high altitude. It is 25 km.
Ozone layer is created in atmosphere. It is in the stratospheric layer.
The stratospheric ozone is important as it blocks the harmful UV radiations of the sun. This ozone is present as the ozone layer.
Stratospheric ozone forms the ozone layer. Destroying it is ozone depletion.
Stratospheric ozone is present in ozone layer. It occurs because of UV.
The thinning of ozone layer is most pronounced at the poles of the earth. It is because of the low temperature of the low temperature there. The ozone depleting reactions are carried on the polar stratospheric clouds i.e. the PSC's. these PCS's require minimum temperature for their formation which is possible only on the poles.
Most of the ozone is found in the stratospheric region. It is present as ozone layer.
The layer containing ozone is the ozone layer. It is located in the stratospheric region of the atmosphere.
Ozone layer is present in the stratospheric region of atmosphere. It is a pool of ozone molecules.
