a reigon is a peice of large land that has different Pokemon on those reigons this is how they were created

long before any regular Pokemon were created and before humans existed Pokemon mewtwo and mew faught which created a big explosion and formed the kanto regon Pokemon lugia and ho-oh fauht and created a big explosion and formed the johto regon Pokemon groudon and kyogre faught and created a big explosion and formed the hoenn regon Pokemon DIALGA AND PALKIA faught and created a big explosion which created the sinnoh regon

i don't know if it was deoxy's and rayquaza that faught and created the hoenn or if it was groudon and kyogre
