Why is the concept of relative humidity important to understanding weather?

Humidity plays an important role in human comfort. People feel cooler in drier air because their perspiration can readily evaporate. They feel warmer in air with a higher relative humidity because the evaporation process is slower. The surrounding air has to be able to absorb water or sweat so that evaporation occurs. Evaporation requires that the body produce sweat and that the air is able to absorb it. Relative humidity in excess will make a human feel discomfort because the air will not be able to absorb the perspiration from their body which removes heat.

Is quality relative or absolute?

Fun question. I'd say it depends on the criteria being used to determine the "quality" of whatever it is...let's just call it "object x." Quality, in terms of its relation to "relative" and "absolute," is I suppose being used in a "quality vs quantity" context. It's pretty fun word/concept play, I suppose. If one assumes the criteria for the "quality" of object x is quanitifiable, then the quality would indeed be absolute. In other words, there would be nothing whatsoever "relative" about the level of quality of object x. If one assumes the criteria for the "quality" of object x is something "unquantifiable," then likely the "it's relative" phrase would be thrown around to describe its intrinsic dependence upon the observer as to the "level" of "quality. I put "level" in quotes the time prior to this one, in order to emphasize the questionable relevance of the concept under this scenario.

If time is relative to the observer then is the future and past happening right now?

If time is relative to the observer, then "right now" has no meaning. We originally meant that as a facetious response, but that fact is actually the real basis for the whole concept of Relativity ... that "simultaneous" depends on the observer.
