A resource that cannot be replaced by natural processes in less than 1oo years is "renewable energy".Your very welcome! :DSincerley,I love youxx
A nonrenewable resource is a resource that cannot be produced nearly fast enough to replace what is used. for example: oil is a nonrenewable resource because it takes thousands- even millions- of years to form underground.
Any resource that is not renewable, or self-renewing, cannot be replaced (at least, not in our lifetime).Fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) are a good example, as they took hundreds of millions of years to turn from organic material to fuel.
The difference between the 2 resources ANYWHERE in the world are that a renewable resource may be replaced within 100 years, say a forest, while a non-renewable resource takes much longer, oil for instance, which takes hundreds of thousands or millions of years to form.
It can be replaced but it will take millions of years so they consider it a non renewable resource.
By definition a nonrenewable resource is one that cannot be replaced within a short period of time, so with the exception of thousands/millions of years item dependent, the nonrenewable does not have the option of replacement and therefor becomes a lost resource.
many people consider minerals are not renewable resources, yes it is, but actually minerals also consider renewable. why??? minerals can take thousands of years to be renewed again since it is formed by the remains of dead living organisms and have taken thousands of years to be formed, so by that if minerals are used it would take thousands of years to renew it's self. also that make it nonrenewable resource because as you know take thousands of years to be used again
We cannot be sure of this as she lived thousands of years ago.
Stone is a naturally produced resource but it takes thousands of years to form so it is considered to be non-renewable.
A resource that can't be used again! Nonrenewable resources are resources which take thousands of years to form, like coal, oil, natural gas, uranium etc. Any natural resource that cannot be remade or reproduced once it is used up is 'non-renewable'. It means that something can't be used again.
Petroleum is a nonrenewable resource because it took a quarter billion years to make it. We are going through it like there is an unlimited supply, and this is certainly not the case.because it cannot be replaced
Well, I guess air will never run out! We always have air! And we will always if our planet survives for 100s and thousands of years.
