What is the need of a USER in internet.. :)

Actually "Client" can be term used for a "user".i.e. A client is an application or system that accesses a service made available by a server.

Client sends request to the server for its further access.

Server responses to the client request.

Client is your browser. It sends a URL as request to the Server.

Sever responses to the client request. so that the corresponding page is displayed in your browser. This is the process of Client and Server communication.

Can a client act both as a client and server in a client and server network?

Yes, it can if the client is offering resources to others. It is important to note, however, that the client still is using client software and is not considered to be a server even if offering resources to others. That is, its role may change temporarily but it is still running client OS software.
