If you mean a Ruger Model 96, $300-$400, depending on condition, box, papers, etc.
I have looked for myself and I now believe that it was made by Ruger.
I'm not familiar with a "Winchester model 77". Is this a bolt action gun or a lever-action rifle? Winchester's famous bolt-action hunting rifle is called the Model 70. Their most famous lever-action guns are the 1873 and 1894 models. Ruger is a company that has a bolt-action rifle called the Model 77.
No
UMC is the company that made the ammo- Union Metallic Cartridge Company. But we do not know who made your rifle- Marlin, Ruger, Winchester, etc. Please repost with the Make and Model, and we'll try to get you an answer. Sorry-
Ruger American Rifle short action calibers (.243 Win, .308 Win, 7mm .08 Rem, 22-250)
Long action.

100-400 or so
Yes- BUT- in an autoloader, they may not cycle the action. In a lever action, they may not feed properly (too short). In ANY rifle, be certain to clean the chamber well after shooting- you will get a buildup of carbon in front of the case mouth that can make chambering Magnums hard if you don't. Also, if you have a gas operated auto, like the Ruger, remember that Ruger recommends you NOT shoot unjacketed lead bullets (gas port fouling)
It replaces the 32-20 with a modern straight-wall cartridge. Useful to both carry in the field and use as a self-defense round. I'd like to see it in a lever-action rifle, or a single-shot.
The Ruger M77 chambered in .22-250 is considered a short action rifle. This is due to the cartridge's overall length, which is shorter than that of long action cartridges, allowing for a more compact and lighter rifle design. Short action rifles typically provide faster cycling and are often preferred for varmint and predator hunting.
The 204 Ruger is actually a rifle cartridge, therefore does not come with any accessories. It is primarily intended for use with Ruger's Varmint rifle.
