They live all over the USA. and in other places as well.

∙ 14y ago07/04/09 I have seen my first salamander (Genesee County, Michigan) and it too has a bright blue tail. I searched on the web and found that it is probably the 5-lined salamander (Eumeces fasciatus). Omisrut Oops! I mean 5-lined skink.
