Why does the red light flash all the time on Dettol automatic hand wash?

the red flashing light means that the senser need cleaning,, switch off and turn upside down. clean senser with a cotton bud.. if it turns out to be drops of water behind the senser, like mine.. I used a hair drier near it to dry up the droplets. as you cant get to the back of the senser unless you take it apart... hope this helps...
