The serpentine belt is the only belt on the car. It is what drives all the ancillary
devices IE: the alternator, Power Steering pump, water pump and the AC compressor.
If this belt breaks, you're dead in the water. It's a good idea to check it regularly for
cracks/cuts/damage and replace if necessary.
Before you take the belt off the car, be sure that you have a diagram of it's routing. There is usually a sticker somewhere under the hood that shows this. If your sticker is missing, make a sketch of the belt routing.
To loosen the belt for removal/replacement, there is a spring loaded idler pulley that the belt runs around. On my '96, it's down and to the rear of the alternator. It rotates forward to put some slack in the belt.

u will have different compressions in the cylinder. get a compression tester mabey al three 0 then one 40 or something like that

3.8 litres from a 4.4 litre jug of 5w30.. that is for a 2.2 litre 97 Pontiac Sunfire. My boyfriend just changed the oil on my car... and this is what he figured out.
