That's not just a "belief", that's what has been observed.
It depends entirely on the size/number of items in the knife. It could be anywhere from about two ounces for the smallest regular-size knives (not counting the teeny ones that don't have full-size tools in them) up to about two pounds for the stunt knives that include every tool they sell. A typical-size/thickness knife might weigh about 4-5 ounces.
Among the many categories of radiation in the electromagnetic spectrum, the radiation with the lowest frequency(longest wavelength) carries the least energy. This might be the audio-frequency radiation from speaker-wires,the 60-Hz radiation from utility power lines or AC line-cords within the home, etc.
Electromagnetism might be associated with a computer.
It basically depends. Everything or nothing can be good about friction. It creates heat, and you might not want it to, but you might want it too (for instance creating a fire). It also slows things down, and you might or might not want it to slow down. You might want neither. It all depends.
Swiss Cheese? Sometimes if you use the kraft singles or something like that they might not have holes, because it's more processed and they add extra things and might remold it, but just swiss cheese has holes.
Both "Swiss movement" and "Swiss made" refer to clocks and watches. During the 18th and early 19th centuries, the Swiss were renowned for the quality of the clocks they made. A Swiss made clock was one that was made in Switzerland and therefore was likely to be if high quality because of the Swiss reputation in that area. A movement is the inner portion of a clock or watch, the part that tracks time by its very regular movement. A Swiss movement is a movement made in Switzerland and therefore likely to be of high quality because of the Swiss reputation in that area. The movement, however, might be sent to another country to be assembled into a clock or wristwatch. That is where the casing, clock face, hands, and other elements would be added. This work might be done in England, Italy, Morocco, China or the US and therefore that part of the clock might not have Swiss quality.
Initially most people might think Wisconsin, but Ohio actually produces the most Swiss cheese.
Yes, he did. However it might be interesting to know that the Académie Suisse in Paris was not "the Swiss Academy", but an insitution led by Charles Suisse.
Why do we do that. If you are wealthy you might want to because of taxes, but otherwise most folks do NOT put money into Swiss banks. You might think that because of some movies. It is made easy to hide the money and that is one reason for depositing things there.
Swiss Gear luggage can be purchased at a variety of online and in-store locations. Online retailers of Swiss Gear luggage include Amazon and Overstock, while the brand can be purchased in-store at locations such as Target and Macy's.
That's your opinion!Any dog might me right for you!
I don't think there are rules for the stock market, US, Swiss, or otherwise. Switzerland usually has a pretty good economy so that might be a good country to invest money.
Swiss watchers are one of the most respected watch brands out there so it might be rather unsafe to purchase one from Ebay or Amazon, given that they could be fakes, so the safest place to buy a Swiss watch would have to be through Tag Heuer.
Dante might be considered second only to Shakespeare among renaissance poets. Moliere might be considered second only to Shakespeare among seventeenth-century playwrights. Marlowe might be considered second only to Shakespeare among English sixteenth century playwrights. Anne Hathaway might be considered second only to Shakespeare among people who lived in Stratford on Avon. George Bernard Shaw might be considered second only to Shakespeare among playwrights from Great Britain. Edward Bond might be considered second only to Shakespeare among playwrights who wrote a play about King Lear. I don't know who is second only to Shakespeare among people whose fathers made gloves.
Swiss Gear doesn't actually make their luggage. They contract it out to different manufacturers to make it for them on their behalf (most brands do this actually). I've had a couple Swiss products (other than their amazing pocket knife) and the quality differs by a lot depending on where, when, and what you got. If you like Swiss and want quality, might I suggest Victorinox luggage? Previous Answer: its heavy , and not really practical for traveler, its only has a brand doesnt mean its good, swiss gear is specialist for knife not luggage
Collectible Swiss Army knives can be purchased from unique vendors specializing in antiques and collectables or from other generalized stockists such as Amazon. Alternatively, online auctions such as those hosted by Ebay might also have such items.
