If your high school participates in the Cooperative Driving Program, which means you take your drivers test with your high school/driving school instructor, and if you pass, you are excused from the tests at the DMV (only if you got an A or B in drivers ed) BUT, there are 3 days chosen from every month ( chosen by Social Security and the dates are not available to the public) And if your Birthday falls on one of those 3 days, then you are selected for a spot check- so you take your drivers test again with the person from the DMV. So lets say the dates were the 12th, 16th, and the 25th. If you go to get your license and your birthday is the 23rd, then you don't have a spot check. There is a 3/30 (1/10) chance you have a spot check, or 3/31, depending on the month.
