.I found a bunch of them on my moms squash leaves and when I caught them they went strait for the leaves so I'm guessing they eat squash, and squash leaves. I had squash bugs 2 years ago, that destroyed my pumpkins,zucchini, and cucumbers. I moved the bed the next year and plantednasturtiums all around the squash plants. Haven't seen a squash bug since.How well they work with an active infestation, I don't know. I just know I haven't seen one since I started companion planting with nasturtiums.
* Squash it. i beg to difer here. you should catch it and take it with you to hospital just in case its poisoness and they need it for identification. it is however much more gratifing to squash it even if its not the smartest thing to do.
