Mount Etna is a composite volcano, also known as a stratovolcano. These types of volcanoes are made up of layers of ash, lava, and volcanic rocks. They are characterized by explosive eruptions and a conical shape due to alternating flows of lava and pyroclastic materials.
Mt. Kilimanjaro is a Stratavolcano. Because of it's steep sides and layers of ash that reproduce when hot ash is let in the air. Mt. K keeps getting bigger every year.
A cinder cone or cinder volcano is a steep hill of volcanic debris that gradually builds up from a volcanic vent. It can be on the slope of a larger stratavolcano or shield volcano.

The timeframe for a stratovolcano to erupt can vary greatly depending on several factors such as geological conditions, magma composition, and the volcano's history. Some stratovolcanoes can go hundreds to thousands of years between eruptions, while others may erupt more frequently. Monitoring systems can give some warning signs before an eruption occurs, but pinpointing an exact timeline can be challenging.
Scientists can only guesstimate that Kilimanjaro last erupted between 150,000 to 200,000 years ago. I don't think you have to worry about it erupting anytime soon. All the best
