Just an idea!
Across the road to the countryside in Vietnam, especially around the mekong delta we still can see several ancestral graves amidst the green rice paddy fields, that are always repainted white and clean every year (around the 25th of the lunar December before our the traditional tet festival). Isn't that a symbol of ancestral worship in a Chinese-influenced country like Vietnam?
