I have a Walther PP, i cant remember from which year but it cost me around 800 dollars, Mine was nazi made and they never put swastikas on them, there is an eagle mark on it which tells you it is nazu
Walther used a 2 letter code stamped on the gun. Letters A-K (no letter J ) corresponded to 0 thru 9. 1967 would be JH for example.
The date of manufacture for a Walther PP is stamped on the barrel, at the ejection port. There is a symbol of authenticity that looks like an elk's antler. The date is located just to the left of that mark. These were made in several variations, over several years. Values will be based on EXACT version and condition- it can range from $200-$350, or much more for some rare versions in Excellent condition. You would need a hands on appraisal.

According to one source online, if the eagle is looking over its right shoulder, it stand for the nazi party, if over the left shoulder, it stand for the country. I have a P38 9mm Pistol made by Walther in 1943 for the Luftwaffe and the eagle over the swastika is looking over his right shoulder. Hope that helps.
