Lennie is a huge man, shapeless of face, with large, pale eyes, with wide, sloping shoulders; and he walked heavily, dragging his feet a little, the way a bear drags his paws. But his arms did not swing his sides, hung loosely. He is also the main character of the book Of Mice and Men who doesn't know his own strength. He is described as a child like with child mentality, innocent, and earns the love and trust from his best friend/brother George. He also gets in trouble during their travel and George yells at him because of the trouble he causes.

His full name is Lennie Small. He is a special kind of character who loves soft things such as mice and rabbits unless if they bite him so he kills them using his fingers without even realizing. So he thinks that the soft animals that bite get killed by their selves when he touches them. In addition, his dream with George is to get plentiful, colourful rabbits in their ranch. It was Lennie who gave a job to his best buddy George from his boss called The Boss.

Lennie Small is a gentle giant with immense physical strength but limited mental capacity in John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men." He is portrayed as childlike, often relying on his friend George to guide him and protect him. Lennie's love for petting soft things leads to unintentional harm, making him a tragic figure in the novel.

Lennie's innocence and vulnerability highlight the harsh reality of the Great Depression era. His ultimate dream of owning a piece of land with rabbits to tend reflects his desire for companionship and stability in a world marked by loneliness and transience. Ultimately, Lennie's downfall serves as a poignant commentary on the consequences of society's failure to accommodate and protect the most vulnerable members.
